Day 01
See Pinnawalas Elephant Orphanage on your way to Kandy. Visit the Botanical Garden after your cultural tour and dont forget to stop by the Temple of the Holy Tooth. As you near the end of your stay in Kandy enjoy the calm atmosphere of the evening.
Day 02
Views of Sri Lankas highlands are breathtaking when taking the train tour from Kandy to Nanu Oya. When visiting Nuwara Eliya make time to visit a nearby tea farm and manufacturing facility to observe the art of tea making. Take in the stunning mountain views while taking a leisurely evening boat ride on Gregory Lake. Stay overnight in Little England or Nuwara Eliya.
Day 03
Take the train from Ella to Nanu Oya and experience it. Experience the breathtaking surroundings as you travel! When you get to Ella you might be greeted with broad views of rolling hills and green valleys. Take in the serene atmosphere and spend some time in this quaint village that offers a tranquil getaway amidst the wilderness.
Day 04
Visit the Little Adams Peak early in the morning for breathtaking views of Ella. View the well-known Nine Arch Bridge a breathtaking architectural marvel set in the middle of the jungle. Once you return to Ella spend one more evening admiring the beauty and serenity of the surrounding area.
Day 05
Travel to Yala from Ella and stop at the stunning Ravana Waterfall en route. Take a thrilling Jeep Safari ride in Yala National Park. Spend the night in Yala to round off the day.
Day 06
In particular, you can spend days exploring the fascinating island of Yala which is a great place to start. You can unwind and rest whilst taking part in a yoga class or enjoy some particularly flavorful seafood.
Day 07
Take a thrilling whale-watching trip in Mirissa to start the day off right. See the magnificent blue whales and dolphins then board a train to Bentota. Enjoy a leisurely boat ride at Bentota Turtle Hatchery along the Madu River. Give yourself permission to unwind and take in the seaside city this evening.
Day 08
Explore the locals and their surroundings when you travel to Colombo by train. Enjoy Colombos vibrant streets well-known buildings and alluring sights once youre there. Take advantage of your last night in Colombo and experience the lively city life.
Day 09
Finish your trip and return to Colombo with memories of the diverse settings and experiences that lend Sri Lanka its reputation as a place of paradise.
