Golfer’s Dreamland
Experience a 10-day golfing and cultural adventure in Sri Lanka, starting in Colombo with rounds at the Royal Colombo Golf Club and town excursions. Visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage and the Temple of the Tooth in Kandy, then enjoy golf in Nuwara Eliya’s "Little England" setting. Relax and play at the Shangri-La Golf Resort and Spa, before exploring Galle Fort, the Madhu River, and a turtle hatchery in Bentota. Conclude with a final round of golf or sightseeing in Colombo before your departure.
Day 01 & 02
Once in Colombo, check into your accommodation. The next few days might be spent playing golf at the esteemed Royal Colombo Golf Club, which is known for its beautiful fairways and historical charm. Enjoy entertainment at your accommodation or unwind in Colombo with optional town excursions.
Day 03 & 04
For a whole new experience with lovable baby elephants visit the Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage en route to Kandy. Spend some time taking walks around the serene grounds of the hilltop Victoria Golf Club when you are in Kandy. Explore Kandy’s cultural factors of interest which consist of the Temple of the Tooth Relic and the bustling markets after practising your golfing swing and admiring the town’s lovely environment in the morning.
Day 05 & 06
Journey to the cool highlands of Nuwara Eliya, wherein you’ll play golfing at the historic Nuwara Eliya Golf Club. Known as “Little England,” Nuwara Eliya’s colonial architecture and breathtaking surroundings offer a suitable backdrop for your golfing revel. Explore the metropolis’s tea plantations and serene landscapes.
Day 06 & 07
See the upscale Shangri-La Golf Resort and Spa by travelling to the southern shore. Enjoy two days of golfing along this amazing shoreline trail, which offers breathtaking views of the Indian Ocean. Enjoy the many amenities offered by the hotel or relax with spa treatments.
Day 08 & 09
After departing from Hambantota, go toward Bentota, a seaside village, where you may have a guided tour of the famous Galle Fort. Continue your journey by taking a ship down the picturesque Madhu River, where you will see mangroves and other natural features. Before you retire for a restful night, stop by a turtle hatchery in Bentota.
Day 10
Make the transfer back to Colombo on your last day so you can leave. Play a final round of golf or take in more of the city if you have time before your flight.
